Aircraft maintenance facility recently acquired a 3T jib crane from Phoenix Lifting, complete with a motorised slew and a 3T Hitachi Hoist with motorised drive. This crane has already proven to be a valuable addition to the facility, making it easier and faster to lift and move heavy loads including Aircraft.
One of the key advantages of this crane is its height – at 8 meters to the jib underside, it is capable of lifting heavy loads to greater heights. Notable Items include;

This crane required a modified footing, which Phoenix Lifting was able to design and install to meet the crane’s requirements.
The motorised slew and Hitachi Hoist with motorised drive further enhance the crane’s capabilities, allowing for greater precision and control in lifting and moving loads. The crane’s advanced safety features, such as overload protection and emergency stop buttons, also ensure a safer work environment for everyone involved.
Phoenix Lifting successfully completed the delicate installation whilst the workshop was fully operational and with aircraft within close proximity to the location.
